    Amazing Read..!

I had heard much about the author before getting my hands on this amazing book.. He blends fact and fiction very uniquely..The whole setting of the chess tournament as well as the mystery running in the background has been handled excellently by the author..As he says in the end, all the references and characters are real, which leaves the reader some space for imagination..!

All in all..a great read..And I bet you cannot put it down before completing it..It is that gripping!

Certainly not among his best works . If you are expecting a fast pace like his scarecrow series or Jack west series, you are in for a disappointment. Nevertheless, a decent one time read .

    Brilliant

Though quite a deviation from the regular stories one expects from Matthew Reilly, this book is no doubt another brilliant masterpiece. No one can make a chess tournament this exciting.

Boring compared to all other Reilly books. I couldn't get past the first few pages. Not light reading.

No, this isn't light reading. I've read all of Reilly's books and love them for the fast pace and thrills...and the clever writing. This one is a stand alone. It doesn't even seem like Reilly! I haven't even gotten past the first few chapters, and that is unusual for a Reilly book. Sorry, no points from me. But if you like a long-winded, slow story that keeps disturbing you with events that don't strike as immediately significant or relevant...go for it!

A must read for everbody. Especially reilly's Fans.

Waited for this book for over a month after its international release. The book is a little different from other reilly works especially scarecrow series where the plots unfold at lightning speeds. This book is a more of strategy based with less fighting & bloodshed, all in all a very good read with much to be gained in terms of knowledge from this fictional work.

    Matthew reilly never disappoints

this title is different to all his preview action packed titles. but it's enthralling nonetheless, finished it in 3 night reading sessions. Has explicit content, which is new for his style of writing but goes with the novel's storyline.

Never disappointed by a novel of matthew reilly and hopefully never will

    Matthew Reilly at his best

Then again, which of his books are just not the best?

The master of action novels is back but this time he has kept it on the down low. Less hack/slash and run/gun and more intrigue and suspense.

Never knew a chess tournament could be this gripping.

Welcome back MR, you did not disappoint
