    Flipkart Official Review

Aroon Raman is back with a good dose of historical element and thriller, as read in his previous book, The Shadow Throne. This time he brings to life the Mughal Emperor Akbar and throws him into an adventure. Rebellion is brewing in his army. There are rebellions being led by Asaf Baig.

There is then the treasure of Malik Kafur, whose whereabouts are only known to an old woman. She is kidnapped by Baig and her grandson Dattatreya, seeks the help of the Emperor himself to stop Baig in his evil endeavours. This is the crux of the plot.
As usual, the plot is racy and you can finish the book in less than two hours, if read in a single sitting. The characters are well-drawn, though there were times I felt that the Mughal Emperor was not a part of the story as much, as I would have liked him to be. Nonetheless, The Treasure of Kafur is a great read which pulls you in and does not let go, till you are done with the book.

    A great gift! well scripted.

A friend of mine gifted this book to me. I haven’t known or heard about the author before this book. But I would like to make one thing clear right off the bat; this is one of my favourite books of all time. This is an exciting and thrilling ride for a historical adventure. The one and only thing I can assure you is that it is a big treat for people who love to read adventures. Aroon raman comes with his unique set of characters which also includes true characters like Emperor Akbar. Great wo...

    An Alluring Tale

Through his 'The Treasure of Kafur,' Aroon Raman took me on a hypnotic outing to the Mughal times where history blends with fantasy and a layer of mysticism. The novel is replete with surprising twists in the tale and surprising twists in language ---and both enthralled me in equal measure from start to finish. The geographic, cultural and historic details delighted me without causing the slightest impatience, for the pace of narration is unrelenting. All in all, a brilliant book from a maste...

Aroon has hit the sweet spot!

Nice book by an Indian author ‘Mr. Aroonraman’. The Treasure Kafur was the best historical fiction I’ve read and the characters are so well defined. The author tells the story through in a way keeps one focused and the story line is amazingly composed together. The book is very alive and happening all throughout out. I think Aroon Raman has hit the sweet spot.

Mind blowing 'The Treasure of Kafur'

The Mind blowing The Treasure of Kafur has marked itself as history novel. The Author was previously compared with Robert Langdon for his writing of The Shadow Throne. Now I hope the media compares him with Kalki – Another great historical novelist. Right from the prologue where Malik Kafur is introduced to the last page of the book you can experience the Mughal Period. I would recommend this book as must read.

    The Treasure of Kafur

A good fast paced book. The Author has correctly mentioned that though the names used in the book are true, it’s a work of fiction. It would be a good read for people who like to mix history with fiction and bit of magic. The Author has finished the book with a possibility of a sequel. If it does come out, I would be happy to read it.

    A Pleasant Surprise

The Treasure Of Kafur was one hell of a surprise. I wasn't so sure about the book when I saw it but I received it through Flipkart in the morning and before bed time I was done with it. It was utterly engrossing.

What I think is the most appealing part of the story for most people is that although it is based a little bit on history, there is no need for you to be interested in history yourself to enjoy the story. It's like any fiction plus fantasy novel.

The story is clean and the charac...
