The Wildings (English, Hardcover, Roy Nilanjana)
The Wildings is a wonderful story for any cat lover. It describes what goes on in the lives of the cats that are the main characters in the story.
Summary of the Book
We have always read stories about human beings and it is easy to relate to them. The Wildings is a story about a band of cats and their struggle to survive. The main characters are all cats and they have been living peacefully in the alleys and by-lanes of Nizamuddin in Delhi. The lives of the cats that live inside the house and of those who live outside is very different and they generally keep a distance from one another. However, there seems to be a major problem arising between the outside and inside cats of the area, and the main reason for this is Mara, a young and powerful kitten who lives with humans. She changes the lives of the cats and the two groups experience plenty of adventures together. The story will capture your heart and will make you think and feel like the cats in the book.
