Mostly a good read!
I have always enjoyed Archer. Though this book is definitely not among his best, the stories are short and delightful. Very typical writing of the master. Some of the stories have nice and unexpected endings while some of them are a little plain. Nevertheless, I have had a good time with the book. Suits light reading conditions when you are not really in a position to pay too much of your attention to the writing.

Fantastic writing
The book contains short stories which are worth reading. Author's writing ability is excellent. The main quality of his writing is to make suspense till last sentence. Very ordinary book
And thereby hangs a tale makes it readers sleep through the book. Not interesting and very page makes the user feel "why did i even buy this!" ordinary characters, usual backdrops and boring lines. this book is surely not worth the price.

An absolute must read
A writers true worth is when he can deliver a short story (8-10 pager) with the same punch at a full novel (> 300 pages). And Mr. JA is a master in that skill. If asked my personal opinion, I would rate his collections of short stories above any other collection by any other writer.... A must read for all short stories lovers. Go for it!!!
