Reviews of What They Teach You At Harvard Business School
*a fresh look on MBA's
Review by Maria
The book is a wonderful insight in the world of a business school and how blinding this environment can sometimes be.
To those who already did MBA's/ Masters this will bring very familiar memories of tremendeous pressure to follow the croud in the job search. And for those who are thinking about doing such programs now- it will make the expectations much more realistic.
The author, who didn't have the most typical MBA background - could threfore give a very fresh assessment of what is going on in the classrooms. How often common sense is being substituted by the myths of Wall Street and how much people are ready to sacrifice seems shocking to him - and shocking to the reader.

I had a very similar experience some time ago - and I should say it is really important for those chosing to do so - to ask yourself all those difficult questions about your life and career in order to achive something serious. So I loved the book.
