Those Were The Good Old Days!: What In The World Went Wrong?

For over three quarters of a century I have been a "watcher." I watched carefully as my parents' generation survived trials and tribulations, watched how they raised their kids during a devastating depression, through wartime, through good times and bad. We turned over to this "Boomer" generation an America that, while not perfect, was relatively safe from harm, the world's leader in almost everything that stood for good. I have watched as in four decades they have led us to the brink of a world war, to an all-time high in domestic crime, to a new generation of sexual fantasies and drug addiction, to a society of slack morals and hedonism and anti-nationalism, to an apologetic stance in world affairs, to an America that has lost the respect of the rest of the world, to an America that letsforeign powers kick sand in our faces, then says we're sorry. Their liberal legions have allowed our borders to be breached and the invaders welcomed in some misguided attempt at atonement for God-knows-what.
My generation brought the Boomers into this world and, since birth control cannot be made retroactive, there is little we can do about it. The frustrations are overwhelming.
God help my America.
