Three Men on the Bummel  (English, Paperback, Jerome Jerome)

Although this is not as packed with laughs as Three Men in a Boat, this book is still one of the funniest books I've ever read. Definitely worth purchasing if you liked Three Men in a Boat.
Besides the humour this book also doubles up as a travelogue. The description of the dark forests and the people makes for a pleasant read.

Received the book within a couple days of ordering, brand new and smelling great!

I read it right after Three Men in a boat (somehow missed these classics during my childhood years), and liked it more than that well-known classic. Not just because of my fascination for all things German, but because I found this easy to relate to. (Frankly, all the boatman-talk was getting on my nerves!)

But coming to this one, it's a great read, and I strongly recommend it to people of all ages, wander...

Not as brilliant as the Three Men in a Boat but still it is an interesting read. You can pick up this book an a Sunday morning with the cup of tea and enjoy the adventures(or mis-adventures) of three guys on their bicycle in Germany. However, some parts in the middle it does look like a travelogue its still enjoyable with the subtle English humor.
