Thrustmaster Universal Challenge 5 in 1 Racing Wheel

I received the wheel from Flipkart in 4 days of my order. It was packed Brilliantly. I was very tense before ordering this product because I’ve never used or seen a racing wheel live ever. But it did meet my expectations. It contains a racing wheel, ofcource, pedals and a mouse as a special gift. I’ve used it many times now and here are the Good things.
1. Easy to connect. Just one pin of the wheel to the one on the pedels. And the other pin to your PC, X Box, PS3, PS2 or Wii.
2. 10 buttons and including the two cute gear changers at the back of the wheel which lets you customize very easily
3. The pedals does not slip while applying force on them which is a very good thing becausr the last thing you need is the pedals sliping away from you at a crusial point of a race.
4. The wheel turns enough for you to have a normal race.
5. The mouse which we get is really a nice and cool black mouse.
There were even a few things that dissappointed me.
1. The wheel fits properly but while turning the wheel it turns to the direction to which we are turning. It’s quiet irritating because it does not give a proper grip and again we have to pause the game and fix it.
2. The wheel size could have been bigger. I had seen the wheel in the images above and thought it would be big enough but it could have been an inch or two bigger.
3. The turning of the wheel could have been a little more.
Please be carefull while configuring the wheel because it takes a while to get hang of it in all the games because all games are different.
It’s quiet small but at the end of the day you only pay 2,499 and to it it has done 85% justice to it.
I’ve used this a lot now and trust me,the first time you are trying this one please try it on the training ground because you will really be tense trying this one for the first time.
Don’t worry, buy this one and you will have a really great man. Show it to your friends and they will keep coming back to your house to keep playing with this wheel.

I am simply amazed by this product i got from flipkart. First of all flipkart service is very good. The packing is nice.
This wheel is comparatively cheaper but as good as any higher end wheels you find in market. The steering response is very good. Gas and brake pedals are very responsive. It is completely programmable on PC.No problems for me. I've played Need for Speed Shift, Shift 2 Unleashed, Grid, Dirt 3, F1 2011. Works perfect. If you are serious about gaming and want a wheel that is good enough for your gaming without extra waste features like Force feedback etc.. go for this one. It saves your money a lot.
Don't expect anything from the offer. I got 5 pc racing game DVDs but I don't even know the names of those games before. They are completely useless.

Got it yesterday evening, however got to using it only this morning... This one's good!... The wheel responses well, and it took me only 2-3 races to get used to the wheel in Shift 2 Unleashed. Love the gear shifters, after using the gear stick for so long in the car... this one is refreshing :)

Haven't fully gotten down to using it yet. Must see if it doubles up as a gamepad too (it's got all the buttons, except L2 and R2)

Feedback is excellent, and gear shifts happen in the blink of an eye. The other buttons offer good response too. The acceleration pedal offers good response... You can feel the full effect when the pedal is fully pressed.

Only disappointment was that one of the rubber bushes @ the bottom of the wheel assembly was missing. But other than that, no complaints. Haven't gotten around to test the speakers yet. Cheers! :)

I just got my Wheel. Flipkart promised me for 5-7 days to get it. But they delivered in 3days. Awesome service from Flipkart.
And regarding the product even I ordered doubtfully. But it was par from my expectations. Good wheel . . . Auto Centering . . A comfortable clip stand. and easy to calibrate. But the diameter of the wheel was smaller. If it had been a little bigger then it would have been excellent.
Dont expect too much . . . But you have everything for a basic gaming. . . I played NFS Carbon and TOCA 3 with it . . still to explore many more games . . . .
Great choice for this budget . . . !

I recently lay my hand on this wheel after thorough scouting. As I am a novice, this wheel is a pleasure to drive. It really gets a little bit use to this but once you familiarize with it, then there is no looking back. A good piece of wheel in the market today that too in the entry level segment. A must buy for gamers and hardcore gamers if they donot want to spend too much money for a piece of wheel with extra stimulated features.
