An Immortal Saga

This is one of the greatest books ever written by an Indian Writer in English. It sprawls from the late 18th century to middle 19th century and covers the entire history of the Tamil country.
A review will not do full justice to the novel. It has to be read to be appreciated. The present edition looks beautiful and I am sure it doesn't contain a few glaring errors that were found in the earlier edition.
Its Tamil version is considered a milestone in modern Tamil literature and rightly so.
