Timex Ironman Digital Watch - Unisex

Although its an old model, it has been very popular because of its finishing and sturdiness. The strap is very good quality and does not cause any problems in sweaty conditions. Watch is very useful in sports activities and fitness training. The watch looks great and can go with any sort of casual dressing.

One of the best features is the flix. You can turn the backlight of the dial with a flick of the wrist. So if you are in low light conditions you can easily check the time or use other features.

I got this watch in 2004 end and have been using this watch since then. This is a real sturdy watch and has survived many falls, scratches and awesome 100m water resistance (can also be used for swimming). Since the day I bought this watch, I have changed the battery only twice and it has been working like a wonder for me.

Best features:
1. 100 Lap Memory Recall in which you can store all your lap records.
2. You can setup 5 different alarms with additional repeat alarms feature and can be set in either of the 2 time zones.
3. It has 10 memory slots where in you can store your useful alphanumeric information.
4. FLIX feature in which you don't need to press any button to activate the light but you simply flick your wrist. Also this watch has a capability to enable or disable this feature.
5. 2 time zones which can be referred on a single button press. Also both the time clocks can be configured in separate time formats I.e. 12/24 Hrs and can have independent Dates too.

Drawbacks:
1. Belt is good and does not irritate your hand at all but sometimes breaks and you may observe some crack in the long run.
2. Buttons can be tough for some users since you really need to push side button hard.

Overall:
I have been using this watch past 8 years and its totally worth every penny.

This watch IS what it says, it is the Ironman.
The watch looks mean. It is supposed to, but do not be fooled by the tough exteriors. Behind this lies a perfect hoard of sports features which you'll love.
Be sure to read the manual for a full list, but I will enumerate the ones I love most here-

a) 100mts water resistant. Seriously! I wanted a watch that frees me from the constant worry of getting it wet.
b) 2 time zones.
c) 100 lap memory with Best/Avg/Worst timings
d) The Interval timer is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !
e) Night Mode and Flix Technology. When you activate the night mode the "Flix" technology comes into play. You just flick your wrist, and the watch comes alive with its backlit display. Saves you from punching buttons ( mighty useful when you cannot, like when you're cycling/riding etc )
f) Alarm Clock
g) Even has a Memo

P.S: If you are not into Sports/Running I would like to suggest that you look for something else...

My fascination for ironman grew way back in the 90's when my Bro bought it. I searched every nook and cranny for this exact model but in vain. More than a decade later, I'm a proud owner!
I was on the verge of buying a g-shock when I came across this good old model which was cheaper than the g-shock by a huge margin. Words can never describe the joy I experienced when I unboxed it. I have seen a lot of new ironman models all of which are either ugly, boring or too plastic. As they say OLD IS GOLD!

This watch looks great on my thin wrists.
Lovely indiglo display.
FLIX works flawlessly.
Solid build quality.
Loaded with features.
Size of the bezel is just right - neither too small nor too large.
Highly recommended for those on the lookout for a digital watch.
Forget those bulky expensive g-shocks, shut your eyes and buy this, you'll be more than pleased.

I ordered the product on 4th Nov and I received it on 6th Nov itself.

Need not say anything special about Flipkart. They have kept their promise and proved to me that they are unbeatable. The pricing, delivery time,packaging and the watch itself was outstanding.

The functions of the watch are all explained previously and I don't have anything extra to add. Though few functions like interval timers and memo may not be used by everyone, but still the watch looks stylish.

Few points I have noticed are:-

1)The flix function activation is great but it requires some practice since the light can be activated only by flicking the wrist in one particular direction and unlike Casio watches, it never comes on by accident or natural movements of our hand.

2)The date shows in the format "YY-MM-DD".

3)Its very light in weight when you wear.

4)Not sure if I can replace the strap with any after market ones since I feel that the case of the watch and the strap are like made for each other and hence the watch may not look nice with any other strap.
