This book breaks a lot of myth about tipu sultan, the true tyrant of Mysore. Must read for anyone who wants to understand the how manipulated history is taught in India.

Excellent Book. Gives a very scholarly perspective . What Sandeep Balakrishna has done is to educate a generation that has been living under a mistaken notion of this historical figure. It takes a good step to us understanding and reading history in a factual manner. The chapters on Coorg and Malabar are par excellence.
