Book: I Too Had A Love Story.. A CELEBRATED maxim says that it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Ravinder Singh’s ‘I Too Had A Love Story’ proves the maxim true and beautifully depicts the beauty and power of true love through the writer’s own heart touching love story.
It is the narrative of the journey of meeting of two strangers through a matrimonial site to the point, where their relationship becomes the most precious gift of Almighty.
Ravinder and Khushi have never seen each other, but love has made them one. The writer has successfully brought out the depth of their relationship through the lively and graphic delineation of their conversation, feelings and emotions.
The readers can feel their warmth and closeness in the lively and picturesque account of how they longed to be with each other in the rain, the coaxing and cajoling after the tiffs and trying to feel each other in imagination.
Reading this book is all the more enjoyable as the reader relates and identifies with the writer. Impatiently waiting for the next phone call, little surprises bringing them closer, late night conversations, tears and smiles, all these make it a read-till-finish book.
The throbbing curiosity, the irrepressible apprehensions and the overpowering excitement and happiness to meet Khushi in person for the first time takes the story to a crescendo of feelings, emotion and action.
Soft and light hearted humor strewn throughout adds an entertainment quotient to the story. The writer tickles a funny bone as he talks about his paranoia when revealing his affair to his parents.
Tear will roll down when an accident leave Khushi battling with death and Ravinder shattered. It reminds that a beloved can save his love till where God intervenes.
Along with the innate beauty of their love story, the expression of the subtle emotions in the most simple and lucid way makes it special. The fact that the writer does not make any effort to impress the readers with lofty words and articulations point to the honesty of the writer’s feelings.
The writer has summed up the essence of his story in the most appealing terms. Not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of love. Some are born, just to experience the abbreviation of it.
Those for whom love is the most beautiful feeling above human definitions and parameters the book will make for an ever cherished experience.

Caveat Emptor: Author's PR machine at work Review by UmaLooks like the PR machine of the author is firing on all cylinders. How unbecoming of a writer? And what a futile enterprise he has served in his book?
Buyers, dont fall prey to these decoy reviews. They hold no water. Best to read the reviews elsewhere (if there are any!) before buying this book.

Do Love Stories ever Dies?..........It can never die. Review by Sandeep MehtaWell, I really tell you about my experience. I hardly prefer to read any Love stoy as I consider them Bokass.bukkwaas but "I too had a love story" is accident to me. I was just..surfing on Flipkart.com and I found to be best selling Novel in recent time. I just go through the Plot Summery then the Reviews give by the readers. I just can't stop myself and immediately went to a Bookshop near by House and purchased it and started reading it. "From the start to End" I didn't feel like it to drop at all. It was really touching and heartbreaking. This Story has found some space in my Heart. I just loved the entire story and was really helpless to stop myself from reading. Some story are made to keep in Heart. This is one of them. I can not forget this lovely, sweet and heartbreaking story. I wish, the story could end happy but "God" is so Mean that most the time they snatch our most loving things from our life. They always do this. I am feeling very lucky to comment on this Novel and read it thoroughly. Ravin and Khushi's love story are immortal and will remain in everybody Hearts forever for very sure. I am glad that I have read this Story. It is highly recommend to everyone who has someone special in life.
is it a true love story? Review by MadhuI bought this book after reading a few lines about it, wanted to read some nice good love story (after reading a lot of self help, management and detective stories). This book didnt disappoint me. I was laughing when ravin laughed, crying when ravin cried. so raw and so heart rending. it made me think of my life, my marriage ( a love marriage), and it made me understand the value of life. its so important to give respect and love people who love you... when u really want to express your feelings, they may not even be there...
keep up the spirits ravin, god bless you and may you come across another khushi in your life soon....

Another Penguin editor turns writer Review by PugglyAfter David Davidar's 'House of Blue Mangoes' - *this* from Ravinder Singh! It's good that Penguin's editorial head is baring his heart to the world via mass market fiction. Er - did he not have someone edit the book? Its a bit grammatically off.
