Tope-Khana Walla records the memoirs of my grandfather, James Corps (8th October 1889 - 30th October 1975). James served in the Royal Horse Artillery from 1907 to 1928 and during that time was posted in South Africa, France and India, where he met and married my grandmother and where my mother was born. He returned to England in 1922; when he left the Royal Horse Artillery he spent the majority of his remaining working life (some 25 years) as a school attendance officer, finally retiring in 1954. Sadly my grandfather did not complete his memoirs to record this event. Rose Bates
