Toshiba BP-AVON Backpack for 16 inch Laptop

Hi there!

I ordered Toshiba back pack on dec 31 2011 and I got it on 5th Jan 2012 for 600Rs. Before I buy this, I have saw many other back packs made by Dell (Dell Case Werkz Backpack For 16 Inch Laptop) and Protecta Bazic @ flipkart. But this one stands apart for quality and design,space and money!

Flipkart delivery process is awesome and pricing is reasonable and many times its cheaper than the retail!

K let me tell u about this product,

1. Made by TURGUS ! (that's enough to sell this product like a hot cake)

2.Quality of the product is damn good in this range. Material used is good. Of course u wont get a better product than this, for even for 1500-1800 RS.

3.Its spacious

4.It has well designed partitions.

I had ordered this bag on 23/1 and got it delivered on 25/1.To say the packing was A grade too good even a number 1 logistics company wont ship a bag in this way...once opened the bag it was wrapped with clear plastic covers all around(Nice way to keep it clean) ;)..the bag was in full glossy black(usually i like matte black but this one was too good to take ma eyes of it) and a black matte print "Thoshiba",to speak about the quality of the bag it top notch..it is as good fabric & stitched as any WILDCRAFT bag (where the small back pack will cost u 1500 )..it has 2 compartments one at the front which can hold pens,cable & portable hard disk with ease..the second 1 is a bit big enough in which u can pack ur laptop and 5 books along with it,inside this(2nd compartment) also there is a small compartment in which u can keep the adapters.This one is a bargain in market and i feel it worth for each penny u spend.I dint buy it blindly i went through the comments posted by buyers in flip cart which helped me a lot to decide "THANK U GUYS" who had written the review..this inspired me to write this review on the product.

to begin with i would really want to appreciate flipkart's express courier service, rcvd the bag within 36 hrs of placing my order...
Now for the bag, it is so spacious that even with a laptop placed in, it can accomodate a lot of other stuff ( can comfortably hold 5-6 100page notebooks and a lunch box water thermos). its extremely comfortable due to the padded shoulder straps to wear even when fully stuffed. i would highly recommend this bag to anyone who need xtra space in their laptop bags...

BUT...

if you are planing to take this bag out in rain, please dont. This is neither waterproof nor water resistant. I had a very bad experience with this bag. Even in normal rain, water seeped into the compartments and whole base was wet, making my laptop wet too.

FINALLY I am really impressed with Flipkart. Bag was delivered on time and packing was very nice.

In short this is how u can describe this bag...I bought this frm flipkart for Rs:600 on 20/05/2012(soon they increased price to 795). So wait they may decrease price.

Abt flipkart service: fast shipping and decent packing. Bag was in perfect condition when they delivered to me.

I selected this bag for my laptop after some search in web and reading reviews here. Thanks for all those who spent some time to write review, share their experience and help others. I was looking for a cheap but good quality bag pack since sony provided me only a carry case for my
laptop and my search ended here.

This bag pack has enough space to carry my 15.5 inch laptop and all its accessories including usb speaker. Still ample space
left to carry other stuff. Its looks definitely much better than in the photo given in flipkart. Material of bag and stitching excellent. Feels very comfortable while traveling in bike,perfect seating in shoulders. I'm pretty satisfied with this bag.

If you are looking for a good quality back pack with low budget or even in the range Rs:1000-1500(and save Rs 400-900), u can consider this bag.

It's one of best deals you can get for a laptop bag.

The quality is very nice. Looks classy. Space is good enough for laptop, charger, mouse and some books (if you are looking for a lot of space then you will be disappointed).

Only thing that I found irritating was: the belt inside is very long and i could *not* find a mechanism so that it perfectly fits my laptop.
One of the other things (not so imp) is there is a black belt kinda thing in front for hanging the bag but i think it isn't necessary. It mars the looks. :P

As always, flipkart delivered in the given timeframe. Impressed.
