great for students but plastic used and quality of outside flaps is not at all good
flipkart gave the laptop in 2 days in a great packing
its a very good deal for students yet the outside plastic is akdam bakvas
if u press on the outside of lcd screen u see the reflection of it on screen side and with slight pressure like keeping your college books along with your lappy in thebag and going to college [and in a accident of u striking the lift wall in a rush can damage ur screen ] so b caref...

While comparing I zeroed on this Toshiba Notebook as it was great value for money.. But the images available here will confuse you a bit as they are not clear enough.
It has one of the best configuration in this price range..
And a performer if you install Windows 7.

In case you install Windows XP, then It will show you less RAM.
Atlast recommended for students & new starters with laptop..

I have ordered one laptop for my brother. It has been delivered in time as committed by flipkart during ordering.
The System is really a good and worth buy.Most advanced hogh performance core i5-2430 Processor which makes the computing a awesome experience.
Very good Speakers

The cons are follows.
Integrated camera quality is not so good.
No HDMI Port
only two USB Ports.

Bought this laptop sometime back....pretty good for it's price but don't expect any thing great...

Pro's:
Good for it's price
Sturdy build

Cons:
No dedicated graphics card (Timeline X from Acer has one with 2nd Gen i5 and a 540m for about 2k more so go for that if you like Acer.)
Hard drive heats up fast so I would still recommend the Timeline X....

Good Speed
4.5 hours battery backup
Good built(didnt expect this from toshiba but was pleasently happy) at this price.Left mouse button makes sound, but I use external mouse so worries.

No for Super Gamers, as thr is no graphics card.
Quality of Toshiba branded backpack isnt that great (infact bad)

Happy with choice I made. why to pay 7-8 k more for Dell/HP brand :) Thanks Flipkart and Toshiba.. ohh yes service from Flipkart was Awesome as always (delivery in 34 hrs)

I 'm really impressed with the quality of this notebook. I never knew Toshiba notebooks could be so brilliant. Honestly It was low price that attracted me to this product but when I did have hand-on experience with this I was overwhelmed. Speed , display , looks e'thing is really impressive.
