TP-LINK TD-W8151N 150Mbps Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router

this is very good basic router which can be used good with BSNL Broadband and it is modem cum router so we don`t need extra modem with this.
its wifi range is good and my small house is well covered with this.

I just bought the product and had some trouble setting up with bsnl as it is my first time using a wireless router.
If you are using bsnl broadband then these are the setting u have to configure

connection type-ppoe
vpi-0
vci-35
encapsulation type-ppoe llc

if you dont know about ur username and password provide by your isp then call "1957" and tell your landline number to the customer care executive and ask him for the same.
he will provide you with the necessary details

thats it, not everything is set and enjoy using nice wireless broadband throughout the house

since i am a new user to wireless modem, i found these features amazing
1.even if pc is switched off we can connect to wireless modem through other devices.
2.range can be observed within 2 floors
3.adjusting the atenna may increase the range

this is a nice product and i never had connection failure problems during my usage.
the speed almost remains the same which is a good factor, looks great and in this world of ipod, tablets and wifi devices buying one of these is really useful.

Just got the shipment today, unpacked it and believe me, the setup took < 4 mins!

It comes with a very simple installation wizard with preset profiles for popular ADSL internet service providers, I use BSNL. All you need to do is just put in your user name and password; it takes care of the rest!

Coming to the range, I’ve read good reviews about this and confidently purchased it, and I am VERY SATISFIED! I live in a 250 sq Yards house, 2 floors, 3 Bedrooms, and

I could get VERY GOOD signal strength in almost all rooms, nothing less than 80%..!
Don’t think, just buy!! :)
But if you’re looking for a router for a club, or a coffee lounge, I do not recommend this, go for a router that’s capable of handling that kind of load, (Greater the number of Wi-Fi clients connected to the router, weaker the signal strength gets!)

But it’s excellent for home use!

I purchased this product about 6 months ago and today I am now writing this review.
The flipkart service delivery is very good, received the product on 3rd day of my order. Below are some pros and cons:
Pros:
> A very good and affordable product in ADSL+ modem category as compared to beetel or other brand provided by ISP
> Gives very good coverage up-to 1500 Sq Ft area
> Have some n Features
> All most every security feature is covered like 128-bit WEP, 64-bit WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, ACL, TKIP and AES
> Very good, and sleek design, doesn't gets hot even after 24 hrs of working at this 40 C temp

Cons:
> No multiple LAN port, comes with only 1 LAN port
> Signal strength suddenly drops beyond 20 M
> Redialing is slow
> A bit tricky to configure this modem with BSNL Broadband
> The configuration manual is not good for lay man, doesn't configure themselves as shown.
