Be aware !!!The model of the modem as advertised is 2.0 because an antennae gain of 5dbi is only available in the hardware version 2.0

Awesome ALL-IN-ONE Router.. Read on!Rewind: Nov 2012, I am in search for a better router which will be my all-in-one device. I use MTNL's Triband at home for the internet and I was in need of an ADSL 2+ router, which will have very low or zero latency (MTNL's ADSL modem can be connected to a DSL router and connection can be established too)

Buggy and unstableQuoting a previous review by Mr. Renjith A:

Wifi range is not good as left antenna port is dummy in V3 versionIn my router left antenna is not working. When i remove left antenna there is no change in signal strength. But when i remove right antenna signal strength drops to zero. Both the antennas are working in right socket but not in left socket. For those who have purchased this router please check if their left socket of router is working and update in the review.

VERY BAD!!! PLEASE DONT BUY!!!This product sucks!!! i'm using it from past a month and i'm facing alot of problems. The internet stops working every 15 minutes while working on the desktop and have to reboot it every time. i checked about this on some blogs and found that many are facing the same problem and even though tp-link have updated there version of this product they hav not solved this issue. please don't buy this product! I prefer D-link over this.

Has Bugs !!!!!The router is overall fine except a big issue with its DNS handling. The DNS resolution is not properly handled and intermittently the name resolution fails. You may suspect the ISP for this, but the problem is the bug in the router. Even after configuring GOOGLE DNS in the clients as well as the router don't save the issue.

Please do not buy this routerI have purchased two of these routers. The software inside the router is highly unstable. The cost might tempt you to buy it, however despite multiple upgrade of the router firmware, it routinely disconnects. Now this is what you call a modem cum router. I did a through troubleshooting of each element which goes into a home broadband DSL connection. The DSLAM ( basically the service providers switch) is less than 50 meters from my home. All folks around in my area use the same provider and have highly stable connection.
