Awesome Memory upgrade for MacBookPro

1. Regarding my purpose: I have purchased 2 (2x 4gb) of these and upgraded my 13" MacBookPro. Wow! I can feel the speed performance from my existing 2gb to 8gb of Ram. Now can run all Adobe Application along with Skype, Apple Mail, itunes, KeyNote without any hassle.

2. Regarding the Delivery of Flipkart Service, the service is really good. I got this product in 2 days when they said the delivery of the product would be 2-4 business days.

Works fantastic on my Unibody Macbook Late 2008

This RAM is simply outstanding. I have installed two of them (2x4GB) and it just works amazingly on my Aluminium Macbook. All application work super smooth now.

Before this I purchased the G.Skill RAM. Even though it was of the same specification and more expensive, it did not support my machine. Hence it was a complete waste of money. I would strongly recommend Transcend over G.Skill as Transcend is better and cheaper.

Works on MacBook Aluminum 13" Late 2008

Ordered 2 pieces, came on time thanks to the excellent flipkart service.
Installed on my MacBook Aluminum 13" (late 2008 model) and it was recognized immediately, without any hitches.

Ordered it on 23rd Feb and got it on 27th Feb. well the delivery took longer than usual but i wasn't in a hurry either. So no issues there for me.
Now coming to the RAM.. I bought 2 of these and installed in my Dell Studio 1558. Checked windows experience index and was surprised to see the memory rating shoot up from 5.9 to 6.6.

RAM timings are 7-7-7-20 CL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS and runs at 1066 MHz frequency.

Excellent quality RAM - compatible with Apple MacBook Pro

Installed 2 x 4GB of this Transcend RAM in a 15" MacBook Pro Late 2008 model (MacBook Pro 5,1), Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, BootROM version MBP51.007E.B06.
[Note: without the new BootROM version and minimum of Mac OS X 10.6.6 Snow Leopard this machine can only address 6GB of RAM. With the new BootROM (just run a Software update and carry out any EFI Firmware updates that show up) and Mac OS X SL 10.6.6 and above you can take it up to 8GB].

The machine addressed all 8GB without any errors ...

If u were looking for an upgrade, this is just what the doctor ordered... this works perfectly well..

For people who do k=not know how to install it, open the back panel of ur laptop, insert the chip in the blank slot in a 45 degree position and straighten it...

works like a charm, remember to use a 64 bit OS... if u hav a 32 bit OS u can only use 3 GB of the ram

Windows is very Happy with this RAM

You might be wandering as to why my "Review Title" is like this. In order to justify it better I would like to state the scenario.
I have a Sony VAIO laptop clocked at 2.93 GHz and 4 GB Dual Channel RAM. Initially I had a windows rating for RAM as 5.9. And as soon as I installed this RAM module, I refreshed the rating and the new rating was surprisingly 6.9.
The overall performance is very nice.
You get improved startup speed and programs also load faster.

The ram is a good buy to improve your computer speed. As usual fast delivery by flipkart and very easy to install the ram on your laptop. I would recommend to upgrade your ram with this even if you are not troubled by a slow laptop.

Perfect!

This RAM is compatible with Dell Studio 1558 Laptop with core i3 350M processor.

Just plugged in and everything works fine, no BSOD, multiprocessing has never been better. Now I can simultaneously work on virtual machines without hiccups!

Guys before buying any RAM for your laptop check for the compatibility, as you cannot adjust the latency manually as in PCs.

Also check for the memory type supported by your processor, in my case i3 350M supports 800/1066MHz only, I didn't buy 1333MHz ...

Very good product

Its a very good product for the laptops which has the Speed 1066 MHz(533*2) FSB .

Before you buy RAM please check the FSB of your laptop. If your laptop has lesser FSB, the RAM with higher frequency will not be compatible with your system.

Well it working absolutely fine with my sony vio vpceb14en.
