For price and dependability, this card is good. I use this card with my android smartphone. But if you can't wait like me, even if you copy heavily to your microsd, I'd definitely say go for 16GB Class 6 or 10.

PROS:
1. This card comes with Lifetime warranty. (Although that means ~5 Years) Which kinda warranty doesn't come in other MicroSDs like SanDisk.

2. Price @ Flipkart for this MicroSD is "really" good. It's hard to find such a deal at other places.

CONS:
1. I ran benchmark tests as soon as I received the card. The Write Speed range always stayed between 2.5-3.1 MBPS when you're copying multiple files together.
This is the benchmark results of Disk Utility: (tested under Linux- Ubuntu 10.10 with 4GB of RAM in my desktop)
Write Speed: 3.7 MBPS
Read Speed: 19 MBPS

I am not satisfied with the writing speed. because when you say class 4, the "minimum" writing should be 4 mbps. Although, I have had my hands on SanDisk Class 4 MicroSDs. & I must say they give better transfer speeds than this one.

2. Doesn't come with the adapter.

3. True Storage capacity is 14.76 GB.

Conclusion:
If you use to copy files heavily, don't go for it. When I purchased this card, flipkart wasn't selling class 6 MicroSDs. Otherwise I'd gone for class 6. Because class 10 may be a overkill to smartphones. So, If you can somehow get class 6, Go for it.

If you use your phone casually and you're "really" ready to wait, this product is for you.

Please note that transcend doesn't have service centers in India. The only way you can get a warranty claim is by going to its authorised dealers which is available only in 7 cities in India. This came to my notice when i ordered this product and it failed within 5 months. Now for getting a replacement i am asked to visit the authorised dealer in Mumbai, since there are no authorised dealer in Pune.
Authorised dealers are available in Mumbai, Banglore, chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

this product is top notch, but flipkart delivery is best.. delivered to me within 24 hrs. m a regular customer n will always be coz they value their customers.

I recently bought this card locally at a slightly cheaper rate..So while everyone might think its lightning fast as it is rated class 4.. but no.. performance is pretty averge..

Note that class 4 cards give least write speeds of 4.4 MB/s for "NON FRAGMENTED" "SEQUENTIAL" write methods... typically speaking.. fewer files (abt 2-3) of large size(>100MB). So if u try filling it up with abt 1000 4-min songs.. then dont expect it to sustain 4MB/s rating for long.. it will drop to something 3.5 MB/s..Moreover.. Transferring tons of 10-20KB files will take even more longer..

Transcend, Sandisk and Kingston are the best card makers.. So a more expensive card from other vendors will not give you better speeds..

WRITE test:

As for me testing it.. performance is not at par with what other cards have to offer.. I moved a 500 MB movie in just 105sec.. Thats nearly 5 MB/s,,stil respecting the 4.4MB/s mark..This is good enuf for 720p recording but not good for 1080p recording..

The thing that really got me crazy was my previous 4GB Transcend card rated at class 2.. it gave 6.8MB/s.. Dont kno why this happened.. I use a PCIe card reader.. USB bottlenecks are no problem..

READ test:

The read speeds are more important than write speeds bcz it determines how fast apps will start up.. here the card really wins..
I transferred a single 500MB file from my card to my desktop at a SUSTAINED rate of 20MB/s..which is really great..
As for fragmented files.. I copied 200MB of 5MP photos (typically 1.5MB) at 12MB/s..
More fragmented?? 10MB of thumbnail pics(20KB) at 2MB/s..
My other card gave almost half the speeds of this card..

Conclusion:This card is more than sufficient for your needs.. and at this unbeatable price.. U just have to buy it.. The only points where it may fail is 1080p video record.. If u want to be absolutely sure this card will record ur videos perfectly. then check the bitrate of ur video.. if it is less than 35Mbps then it should work fine.. if not.. consider buying a class 10 card..

while copying data, my pc hanged n I removed memory card after waiting for so long n when I re-inserted , this sdhc was not working, not even showing itself on computer neither in phone, n when I visited Nehru place service centre, they said, it would take more than a month to get it replaced. I hv submitted this card there on 5 feb n today on 19 feb, this is showing online warranty status as 'BLOCKED FOR ALLOCATION, ESCALATED ITEMS' sometimes I needed to refresh my songs in nokia 5233. transcend service is very poor for memory cards n the worst thing I came was the the serviceman at Nehru place was not able to read the exact serial no of the card through lens, n while chatting with his counterpart he excused that ' kuch bhi serial no likh de, apne aap wapas aa jayega, wo theek serial no daal ke bhej denge, fir dubara wapas jayega! earliar serial no printed on these cards were larger in size but now they have printed in small size resulting not able to see the serial no even through lens!
