SD/SDHC cards are usually available in four classes. Class 2, Class 4, Class 6 and Class 10. Class 2 cards offer a minimum sustained data rate of 2 megabytes per second (MBps), Class 4 of 4MBps and Class 6 of 6MBps and Class 10 of 10MBps. Depending on your requirement you can choose. For example generic mp3 have a data rate of 320 kbps, and video are of the order of 1 Mbps. So if you are recording video content then go for higher classes.

I just purchased Transcend memory card SDHC 16GB class 10.It was working fine for 2 to 3 months then I started getting problem.
First It started earising all my data and then it stopped writing on it also. I also lost all my saved applications.
I called up flipkart they imformed me to visit transcend service center.But to my surprise they were very rude about it.
Even they told me I would not get any replacement card and for new card I have to wait for 3 months for replacement.
As company does not provide them on table replacement ( as heard other companies give on table replacement ).
They do have any back up cards. So if you buy transcent it may be possible you may have bad experience.
This is very bad on part of transcend company.I also informed flipkart about it to take some action as my card is under warranty.
So buy at your own risk.

the card is simply awesome. average writing speed is around 16 MBps.
if u are buying a phone with HD recording or a digicam go for this card.

i bought this card 2weeks before, just the 2nd day after ordering it through online.flipkart packaging was safe and prompt delivery done through bluedart.
About the product,i got transcend microSDHC card 16 GB class 10.Although in market class 4 cards of same memory capacity are significantly cheaper than its class 10 counterparts,reading and writing happens in the cards in a blistering speed.awesome performance.also transcend website have features to make yourself sure that you got original product.yes,i registered and checked in transcend website.the default data transfer to & from the cards given by manufacturers is 10 MB/sec.But actual speed is more than 14 MB/sec often.

I ordered it on Saturday night and I got it Monday evening, quick service!
I immediately tested the microsd using some testing software to check write and read speeds. Well its not the fastest Class 10 MicroSD you will get, but its up to Lady Luck more like.
Test results- It started out with writing at 13.7MBps then finished with an average of 14.9MBps and Read finished at an average 17MBps. This is considered Class 10 so no complaints.
