Transcend MP 870 4 GB MP4 Player

i bought this about two months ago..it is a complete waste of money..hardly has any battery back up..even if u charge for 6hrs...d battery will run out in only 4 hrs even when playin songs..gets hanged and stalls completely...its reset button doesnt work at all..beware all buyers..dont b fooled by its features kp off it..trust me...

I purchased this item through Flipkart, No comments other than *****! services.
I have few observations to share;
First of all the positive features;
1) It has got a beautiful off timer, sleep timer helps you in conserving battery. Good unexpected feature.
2) There are many websites, which bear good music, but you cannot record them or download them. But using this put the audio out of your PC to your MP3 Mic in and record your choicest audio. A very simple way of making it.
3) Normal quality of recording, music playing, video resolution are very good, at this range, you can pleasantly give *****!
4) Battery back-up I can rate upto **** (4 stars),
Some shortcomings:
1) No battery charges is included in the product. You have to either depend on USB port through PC. But I found a solution. Use a mini USB connectivity mobile charger. It works excellent. I tried with one chinese make mobile charge, it was giving a warning of charging with incorrect voltage, hence, I suggest to go for a branded or a quality charger.
2) It does not have graphic equaliser or any preset selection in music playing formats (Rock/Pop/dynamic, etc.) but sound quality is fine.
3) You cannot delete a file, you may have to do it through PC.

Overall rating, it is 4.5 Stars.

i am using this product for sometime(almost 1 year).when judging a product like a music player the first thing comes in mind is battery backup.and this is the major draw back of this product it used to give a battery backup of 4-4.5 hrs at the beginning but now it is almost 2 hrs(never watched a movie so cant ell the back-up).even you cant delete a file from this player without using a computer.
now about equalizer,recorder,sleep timer etc etc... all the modern day mp4 player comes with this kind a thing.
but this product has 1 very good feature ie it supports a 16gb memory card and thats work fine too which is very rare for this price range.so if you are in a tight budget you can purchase this one.and a little trick.visit transcend service center they will give you a replacement :)).

this is just a opinion.but beware of those liars who used to say that they buy this from flipkart they must know flipkart used to tag a certified buyer logo beside their review.

this player is cheap and good but it is slow.and u have to press navigation keys every time to scroll or drop down which is some time irritating.but on the brighter side u are getting a good music player with different eq presets and srs hd sound quality.watching videos are only good if they are in flv format.otherwise u will definitely face synchronization probelm.battery backup is awesome .recharge time is about 2.8 to 3.2 hr,which is good.the headset comes with mp870 is awefully bad....so plz go with good headset

I loved it at first, it was convenient with good sound quality and display. Look and feel wise, its pretty. I did not expect such quality from Transcend, but it was decent.

But one day, it suddenly shut down. i tried to charge it, but no response. I have to get it repaired, send it to service shop. But I did not expect it to have problems so soon. It just reinforces the belief that buy only established brands.
