Transcend PF705 Digital Photo Frame

bought this to gift someone. many cheaper photo frames are available with more features. but i thought i will go for transcend as it would be good quality.
was very disappointed with the quality on every aspect that a digital photo frame might offer.

Display: exteremely bad display quality...the screen resolution is very poor...u might buy a cheaper chinese tablet and use it as a photo frame if you are too keen. this frame was probably conceptualized when screens used to be with large pixels and anything digital would make people happy..in the current scenario doesnt work at all. if not anything, a digital photo frame should have a good screen. so i wont suggest anyone to even think of buying this. i wonder why is even transcend making this product anymore.. or maybe i came from the future or bought this..lol..

build: poor plastic build. doesnt look good...gives a very cheap product feel in hand..

Operation: poor.. works from wierd button panel on the back...if you have ever even used a color screen phone (not even smartphone), you wont like it.

overall i would rather throw it in trash rather than thinking of giifting it... a big waste of money...i am a very regular online shopper but frankly speaking i dont understand 480 x 234 dot pixels...these instances kind of make me think that i need to physically see the products and buy...(Flipkart rem your advert.)

The screen resolution is not as good as expected. I guess i should have ordered Sony's frame for Rs. 800 more. There is no remote but it was not advertised to have once so that's okay. The buttons at the back are pretty hard to press. The gloss on the frame is a bit too much for my taste. The brightness can be controlled but it washes the colours.

Would not recommend this frame. Go for a Sony or check out the screen resolution in person before making purchase. But I guess for 3k thats all it had to offer.
