Transcend PF830 (4 GB) Digital Photo Frame

This was my first deal with Flipcart.com, I was on the lookout for a Digital photo frame of a reputed brand name like Sony, Philips, Kodak. But the information given on the Flipkart Website and the reviews of the buyers for PF830 (2GB) made me change my mind and I decided to take the risk of trying a lesser known brand, Transcend. When I received the delivery and opened the digital photo frame, to my surprise it was too good to be believed. The low price and exceptionally good quality and performance took me by surprise.

Pros: High end resolution of 800 X 600 pixels, Audio and Video Files playing ability, 4 GB data space. 8 different dials of watches, with Calendar, each one more elegant than the other to select from.

Cons: No Battery back up hence date and time data may get lost if the frame is switched off for more than 2 to 3 days continuously at a time. The Sound of one Speaker of 0.5 watts is ok but a music buff would have expected stereo output or the possibility of having a earphone jack.

The product is second to none in it's quality and performance, the price is most competitive, the price offered by Flipkart is unmatched. Thank you Flipkart you have educated your customer and made him select what is best for him, I look forward to do more deals with you

I ordered this product after going through all other competitive products and this is the cheapest among all competitors with all its features.
Pros:
- Sleek design and good looks
- sufficient space, after buying this I think 2GB would have sufficient. After putting all good pics I had plenty of space left.
- mp3 and video support.

Cons:
- LCD screen is obviously not comparable to LED screen sony is offering but at much higher price.
- speaker doesn't sound very good, good enough though to provide light background music while watching slide show.
- It didn't detect my USB drive, connectivity with laptop was good. Haven't tried memory cards yet.

In all this is a bargain at this price with the features they are offering.

Please know these basic features about this product before buying:
1) The absence of battery backup means you have to keep it connected to the mains; although the adapter cable length is sufficient, it is quiet annoying at times.
2)The display & resolution is awesome for LCD, don't compare it however with LED backlit displays you might have seen.
3)Very easy to handle, perfect for gifting elders...
4)Pretty decent music and video quality
5)No issues with connectivity
Overall a pretty decent buy but decide at first if you want that battery backup or not.
Packaging and delivery was awesome as usual from flipkart

Got Product within 30 hours from Ordered time. When we checked the MRP on it was 5100/- I was shocked to see that on website they have mentioned MRP as 7200/-.

The Product is good. But I felt cheated because I can get for the less price outside if the MRP is 5100/-.

Please put the correct MRP. We are happy if we do not get much discount also.
