The design of this digital photo frame by Transcend is sleek and weighs 510 g. The PF830 is powered by an AC power adapter with input of 100 - 240 V. You can use the 8 rear-mounted buttons to control the settings of your images, videos and audio files.Features and Connectivity
You can view images from external storage devices like SD, SDHC, MMC, CF and microSD memory cards. You can also view images from M2, MS, MS PRO, MS Duo, MS PRO Duo and MS PRO-HG Duo memory sticks. The Transcend digital photo frame can even display images from a USB flash drive or download images from a computer using the USB A-Type or mini B-Type port.This Transcend PF830 photo frame supports DSC JPEG and BMP image file formats, M-JPEG, MPEG1 and MPEG4 video file formats and MP3, WMA and WAV audio file formats.
You can view your images in slideshow mode with this PF830 digital photo frame. If you want to accompany your slide show with background music, the photo frame will pick audio tracks from the storage device that has the images. You can also control the amount of time each picture stays on the screen. Each image can also be zoomed-in to view it in more detail.
The Transcend PF830 can be used as an alarm clock and wake up every morning to your favorite music tracks and images. With the Sleep timer, you can program your Transcend digital photo frame to shut down after a fixed amount of time. You can use the PF830 as a desktop calendar that lets you set reminders for important dates. The Transcend PF830 can also be used as a World Clock.

Value for Money
Great value for money given the features it has: 8inch, video playback, 2 GB built-in memory, good looks/finish. Picture quality is good.
Drawback: Sound volume is less, you have to play it at maximum to be able to hear the audio; missing 3.5 mm audio jack so can't connect to headphone/external speakers. Also like most other DPF's there's no in-built battery.
Flipkart service is very prompt and safe: ordered on saturday afternoon and got it on monday morning :)
All in all, a great gift option!!!

Amazing Value for Money Product with MPEG
It is a great way of re-living your memories without the hassle of waiting for your device to boot. It plays MPEG files also which is a great advantage as you can play your recorded videos too!!! Another advantage is that you can watch your photos with your favourite music playing in the background. As with all transcend devices, the quality is great too. Wish it had an option to plug external speakers and ability to play on battery.
nice gift and great product
I got it today only and found it as expected. flipkart service is too good. I ordered it on Monday and got with in 2 days.
It's music quality is good but you have to be near to this device :-). Video is clear to play in 8' screen. I bought it gifting someone and I am sure they are gonna like it. go for it.
But doing all things you need to give power cord to make it on. So don't expect it's a portable stuff ;-)

The best in this budget
Transcend PF830 is definitely the best in this budget. Crystal clear photo quality, nice inbuilt features and the best part is that it plays standard mp3 and video formats as well.
The black frame makes it look sleek and trendy in the 8 inch screen.
The product lives up to the mark in terms of its features and functionality.
The best part is that its on flipkart you will find it cheapest.
