Transcend SDHC 16GB Class 10 Memory Card

This is a class 10 SDHC 16gb card. A normal SDHC card can be available anywhere in the market but 16gb class 10 is very difficult to get and if available its very pricy. thanks to flipkart for such affordable rates.please check your camcorders requirement for particular class of card. generally thesecards comes with class 2,4,6 and 10 catagory. .The class 10 is with better writing speed so please check these things before buying

A very good SDHC card for DSLR users. Compared to a Class 4 card which usually comes with the camera, Transcend Class 10 card is much faster with comparatively faster write/read speeds. The faster the Write speed, the faster your camera would be able to store images and your camera would flash BUSY message less often.
Having said that, being a Class 10 card, it should have had better write/read speeds. A Sandisk class 10 card much faster if compared to Transcend.
Value for money : 10/10
Write/Read Speed : 8/10

I had recently purchased a Canon 600D with came with a Class-4 memory card that made my life difficult while shoooting Video, especially. Basically the card was too slow and would lead to buffer overflows, restricting the duration of the Video being recorded. I had to record an interview recently and it was a nightmare trying to do it with the Class 4 card that came along.

I googled and found out that the issue was with the memory card and quickly replaced it with the one on Flipkart, here. Works perfectly and no more buffer errors. Just make sure you buy the 16Gb version and not the 8gb one since you could quickly run out of space with the 8gb version while recording the video.

I purchased this 'Transcend Memory Card SDHC 16GB Class 10' for use with a DSLR type Camera. This card is fast and can keep up with the multiple consecutive RAW JPG writes from my camera and there has been no mishaps with any data so far. I have shot more than 200 pics now with this card loaded.

I'm quite happy with this product. I recommend this product.

I got it for my Nikon D7000 advance DSLR. Its good for use with full HD movies and fine JPEG images. And also for RAW format. But while shooting burst RAW the write speed reduces. However that is not a big problem. Otherwise that, its fast enough for all kind of work. If you are not using a full frame dslr then buy it otherwise get even faster cards. Also not recommended for sports and wildlife photography as you will need burst mode there quite often. I hope this review helps and doesnt create confusion.
