Tribal Women In India

The present publication contains twenty research write ups contributed by eminent social scientists, anthropologist, sociologists and researchers. In these papers topics ranging from problems of tribal women education, exploitation, migration and empowerment etc. to their integration in the mainstream have been focused at length. Based on both secondary and primary sources of data collected from field studies, this work portrays the evaluation and analysis of tribal women problems, policy paradigms to eliminate the problem of backwardness in tribal segments of India.

Dr. S N Tripathy completed his graduation with Economics honours from KSUB College, Bhanjanagar (Orissa) and M.A. in Economics from Khalikote College, Berhampur. He was awarded PH.D. Degree in the year 1989 from the Berhampur University from the Berhampur University for his research on Problems of Bonded Labour in Orissa.
