The Truth about the Harry Quebert Affair (English, Paperback, Dicker Joel)
In this mystery novel by Joël Dicker, a writer journeys to his mentor's hometown for advice, and is engulfed in a search to find a murderer, and to tell everyone The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair.
Summary of the Book
It began as a casual visit to his mentor to salve the one-time-hit Marcus Goldman's writer's block. He didn't expect it to turn into a murder investigation, one deeply seeded in the story of a girl who vanished thirty-three years before. Marcus alone believes that Henry Quebert is innocent, and he begins his own investigation into the disappearance of fifteen year old Nola Kellergan. Against impossible odds, as Quebert admits to having an affair with the young girl years ago, Marcus must follow a trail of clues through the old writer's books, the backwoods and empty beaches of New Hampshire in an investigation his own life rides on. Marcus begins to ask himself an impossible question: how can he write a book to save one man's life?
