A Comic Book in a Book Form

Superhero stories are rare, if you don't consider Indian mythology as Science Fiction. Samit weaves a fantastic tale of different super hero powers and uses them very well throughout the book. The book reads like a comic book, but here you have the thrill of imagining it yourself.

The end is a power packed finale, but when the whole build up occurs in India, and the ending elsewhere, it feels as if India doesnt feel right.

Let me tell you one thing, the start will keep you hooked.

Samit Basu writes a Hollywood-adaptable racy book!!

One of the most amazing book i have read in a while. A hollywood style on-the-edge sci-fi thriller from the brilliant author.

Read it even if you're unsure on how the book will turn out to be. This was my first Samit Basu book after which i have read almost all his books including the Game World trilogy and the comics which he had authored.

A very intelligent plot with remarkable heroes (prefix by super?) and deadlier villains. A must read.

Great Book with Gripping story

I received this book the third day of my order. Nicely packed in a thin plastic sheet to save it from rain :) pretty neat.
As everyone tries to present himself as an ardent reader, I started the book and read it straight for 6 hrs, until my stomach changed its growling to barking.
Abhi tk khatam nhi ki h, but till now, the story is great. Part comedy/comic/ethical. A good read overall.

One of the best Indian novels I've read

Pros:

The book is a page turner, I finished it in a single sitting! the characters are interesting, the action scenes epic and the plot simple. Imagine the X Men set in India, but with a lot more humour. The book doesn't take itself seriously, and doesn't try to be deep, dark, and gritty which seems to be a trend in superhero movies nowadays. No, there's just enough depth to make the characters feel real.

Samit Basu does not hesitate from any opportunity to satire Indian society. I can't ...
