Dolores, the widow of the late Dr. Donald Northrup, has included along with her own account of their lives many transcribed inserts in Don's own words. The narrative extends from 1925 to 2007, and follows their experiences from Eastern Canada and the United States to Southern Africa, and back to North America and Europe. With a deep faith and determination to see lives changed, thousands have come to Christ through their ministry. As you peruse these pages you will find stories of childhood, of marriage and family, of sacrifice and triumph. You will encounter God as you read of the miracles they and the people around them experienced. Your faith will be challenged as you see that with God all things are possible. Dolores was born in Eastern Canada, where, in 1946, she met and married Donald Northrup. They were blessed with a son and two daughters. She and Don both received their training for ministry at Zion Bible College, in Providence, Rhode Island, after which they ministered extensively in the evangelistic field and pastored several churches. Seventeen years were spent on the mission field of Africa. They returned to the United States in 1977. In 1985, God led them to establish Dove World Outreach Center, in Gainesville, Florida. Don went to be with the Lord in 1996. They had been married for forty-nine years. Dolores, an ordained minister, held the position of Women's Pastor in Dove World Outreach Center, teaching, counseling and encouraging the women. She retired in 2004, but still continues to be part of the church.
