Excellent parody

This book is a light-bantered parody on 2014 elections and it is a must-read for all who appreciate a well executed humor theme.

Highly recommend it. Worth the moolah and finished it in a sitting.

Great Satire, Great Book

Mirton! I do not write a lot of book reviews. In fact, this is the first review that I have written since I reviewed Pride and Prejudice when I was in college almost ten years ago (and that was only because I had to).

But today, I am forced to write one, for two reasons. One, the book is written by two people who manage The UnReal Times site, a site to which I have contributed some somewhat funny articles. Two, I hope with this review, I write more reviews.

But the most important reason is ...

Superb read!

A really interesting read! Terrific satire and an awesome reveal at the end! If, for a moment you forget that the book is about a satire on Indian elections 2014, it can actually classify as a good standalone fiction book! Also I think through the garb of satire, the authors have indirectly expressed their political views on some occasions, or certainty the views and hopes of a lot of Indians! Highly recommended!

Must read book

Very funny, a great satire. One should not miss this. It is hard to put down mid way. I especially loved the take on Rahul.

A satire below the belt

Now... you need books like these.. Critical, corny yet rib trickling... I hope that the sarcasm here is taken positively... But the author really tears apart some big names.. Enjoyed it in parts.. Flow though is languid... jerky at best.

The book is awesome

Unreal Elections hold more truth than the so called contemporary history books. The book is filled with satire and humour.

Boss, what a book!

What a book!! What a book!!!

I was laughing every alternate sentence for practically the entire book!!

You definitely need to "know" a lot of things before you read this book. I mean you need to be aware of events that happened prior to the Indian elections in 2014. But if you do, there's nothing funnier in the book.

The climax, which I shall not reveal, was amazing!!!
