A Gen-X writer, STAG paints characters with depth, composing his vignettes with dense prose and rich context. The love scenes, written by a male, are slightly more mechanical than those of a female romance novelist but are drenched in the spirit of true authenticity.
In the longest tale, "Diary of a Submissive Man," STAG opens a stunningly intimate, semiautobiographical window into the tortured life of a young man caught up in the fetish popularly known as "tease and denial." It started with his first, sweaty-palmed dance with a girl in the seventh grade and ends with his submission as a thirty-something sex slave beneath the crack of a dominatrix's whip.
