Samsung is very smart indeed. It doesn't mean their phones are smart. Rather, they create cheap phones in the name of the Galaxy series and make insane profits. They created a killer in the name of Galaxy S2 and won the critics. Now, they are capitalizing with these cheap phones priced way overboard. People with little knowledge of anything other than the names 'Samsung' and 'Galaxy' are quite easy to fool.
Bottom line is you got to be a fool to buy anything other than Galaxy S2 of Samsung.

I have been using this phone for over 6 months. Bought it under the name xcd-35.
One thing people don't know about is the resolution. A 480x800 resolution was only offered by high end smartphones. No phone below 15k offers such detail. Screen may not be have the quality of Samsung or Sony, but has the detail that other phones cannot give at 8k for quite a while to come.
People complaining about the camera have to grow up. Unless you have a flash, you can't get good pictures. Note that the original Galaxy S still sold at around 20k doesn't have flash.
One factor that makes this the best deal android phone in the last 2 years is the support it gets in International Groups. This phone is a killer which sold for millions under different names.
Root this phone and you have a phone that beats the Original Galaxy S in terms of Performance.
Scale the 8k and the specs, you won't find anything better that suits the tag " Value For Money " than this phone.
If you want something better, spend "twice" the money and buy Xperia Neo or Optimus Black.

Price is the only reason to go for this. Decent speakers in Decent volume. Gets scratchy with increasing volume. If this is what you can afford buy it. Else try for something much more decent. And by the way, Thanks Flipkart.
