The biggest plus point of the AOM games is how well the various civilizations have been differentiated. Even within the same civilization, how you age up changes the kind of units you have. The unit bonuses have more effect (for example, cavalry are better than archers).
The graphics are also really great.
However, I did not like the campaigns. It would have been better if they were based on some "real" mythology instead of a story they cooked up. The titan's campaign is too small and not very interesting.
I would still place AOEII and the Conqueror's Expansion above this but even the AOM series are worth it. I wish Microsoft made an AOM II instead of AOE online.
If you're playing a random map game or multi-player with friends, this can be a ton of fun.
The book has a huge number of problems. By the end of it you will be capable of solving a lot of circuits in your head.
It does have mistakes however. This does get frustrating when you think you've got the answer wrong only to realize that the book contains errors. I have the 6th edition. The errata also contains errors.
However, I still recommend the book. The problems are really good and Hayt's structure of embedding practice problems with the theory is very effective (This proved effective in his electromagnetics book as well). Giving it 4 stars because of the errors.
This book is excellent if you need enough problems to score well in Engineering exams. It has a large number of problems from different universities.
However, if you really want to understand the concepts well, I would suggest looking at books which handle that particular topic in math separately. For example, if you are interested in Matrices and Determinants, study a book on Linear Algebra.
This is a good book that has everything in one place and I'll give it a 4/5 for that. One more star if it had a little more depth in theory.
HTC's profits are down. That'll continue to happen with prices like this.
The Motorola Atrix 2 has better hardware (HD camera, secondary camera, more memory and RAM) and is priced about the same. Yes it comes with Android 2.3 but I believe there is an ICS update for it already. Besides, Android is free so the OS should not significantly add to the cost.
HTC should see how their competitors price their products. It's sad to see them going down because they do make good phones. The problem is they put a very high price.
I used to play only the demos many years back but now that it is available on Flipkart, I bought it immediately. This game will never get old and I hope it will always be a way to get it to work on future versions of Windows.
The gameplay is great and the AI is quite challenging. Multiplayer is the best of all. The campaigns are very interesting and are based on real historical facts such as Joan of Arc and Ghengis Khan. Who says learning history is boring?
After Samsung decided to not release the Galaxy Nexus in India, I was looking forward to the One S because it has the newer S4 chip. But the Indian model doesn't. Google says that the consumers in India are increasing very fast but the OEMs don't seem to bother about it.
