I generally prefer trimming to shaving and was looking for a low priced trimmer that could justify the price for my once in a week requirement. This trimmer from Philips is very simple and easy to use and gets the job done fast even if you have a long beard. It's also useful to trim a long beard before going for a shave to save time. If you are just starting to considering trimming instead of shaving and just want an even trim, this item is your best bet.
Have you ever missed listening to the radio on the move without the clutter of wires dangling to your mobile. Sony has just the answer for it. This is a brilliant device for anybody who loves listening to the radio and wants a seamless switch interface to calls on the mobile while doing the same.
Pros :
* Excellent Radio reception. You can also plug in your 3.5 headsets to your Sony phone and use Track ID to figure out which song is playing on the radio. Earlier Sony phones have FastPort though so it's not possible there.
* Phone number on display. At this price its a steal. And, If you have a Sony Phone, you get the name of the caller to flash on the OLED display.
* The ability to switch the headphones is just awesome. Now if you damage the earphones, it's not the end of life for your bluetooth headset.
Cons :
* The volume switch may get touched inadvertently until you get used to handling the device.
* The device says it connects with two simultaneously but calls from will be handled only from one, so it just means that it remembers your last 2 devices.
* I didn't like the included in the ear headphones, but with this headset you can switch anytime you want :)
This is my 2nd Sony Ericsson Elm after having used the K550i for a little over 4 years. That was a never say die phone and it withstood torture more than Nokia handsets. Dented and broken it finally gaveup after 4 years and I moved to this materpiece from Sony.
Pros :
* Nice feel to the keys unlike the lower end Cedar.
* Simple interface for WiFi connectivity.
* Nice weight balance in the hand keeping the lower end heavier thus avoiding slips.
* Simple FM Radio InterFace with Track ID helps you find out the songs you want to know.
* A-GPS works well with Google maps on the road for navigation.
Cons :
* The noise shield is a tricky feature. Used in a fast moving train with Clear voide, you will be able to hear the other party loud and clear with them also getting to hear you well. But at times it backfires when you leave it on and speak in low tone in a quiet environment. I hope Sony has tweaked it better for future models.
* Fastport and the absence of 3.5 mm jack. The lesser said about it the better. It's just a pain.
* Camera is not really upto the expectation from Sony. The flash doesn't help with night time shots.
* No Lens Cover

First Sony FlashDrive is my first FlipKart purchase. Let's hope the relation with both lasts long. Personally, I never liked Sony for their high costs but the way my Sony Ericsson phone has been going on and on with my hard usage over nearly 4 years, I have become a fan of the brand. Besides the Japanese are the best when it comes to delivering quality. Now let's see of FlipKart allows me to upgrade this review later over time as this drive takes over the heavy duty of becoming my primary transfer device.
Imagine having the luxury to carry a 16GB pen drive in your wallet all the time, taking just the space of a 1 Rupee coin. It's magic. I haven't really tested the transfer speeds because even if they are slow, it doesn't matter. The main catch here is the extreme portability.
It is quite well built to not get damaged in a coin filled wallet, and can handle daily use well. Have bought it for most my friends as a gift and they love it :)
I purchased this recently for my ThinkPad SL410 and, there is no hiccup post install and I am now able to have applications load faster. As I was running multiple servers and a NetBeans on the system for development, adding RAM has helped me get over the memory crunch. With FlipKart pricing it brilliantly with LifeTime warranty, I suggest this as the default choice for DDR3 upgrades.
This is a simple light weight iron with normal round dial temperature setting for different fabrics. Has a non stick coating and comes well packed along with the 2 year warranty document. Delivery through FlipKart was prompt and I had it in my hands within 24 hours. FlipKart now sells the same model in 600W also if you want to have a lower price and more power savings. :)
The styling, brand appeal and the quality of the pen is true value for money at this price. It should come with a black refill instead of blue, but you can always switch it later. The packaging is standard Parker India stuff and with Flipkart delivery you shouldn't have any problems.
