Received the battery in 3 days flat. Well packaged.
Replaced old battery (which had swollen due to heat exposure).
New battery BP-6M works well on my trusted Nokia 6233 and has standby time of more than 3 days. My phone usage is very less and hence I don't like to charge the battery every other day.
Happy with Flipkart service. Hope to buy something more soon.

The product is excellent for cooking rice and steaming vegetables. takes 20 min to cook rice. steaming vegetables like beans, carrots and potatoes is also effective. they can be cooked with very less effort after steaming.
Have not used the idli plates till now. This cooker is a good alternative to Pressure cookers, especially for those people who wait for the LPG refill for 3-5 days (single connection). I am one of them.

bought this book at delhi rly stn for Rs 140. kept me busy during the long foggy train journey. but now for the basics:
first of all though Chetan wants to entertain, get our attention and then pass a strong message, this time he seems to have failed. for once he made the entertainment part - especially the love triangle too intense. and he portrayed the girl to be so clueless that she kept hopping from boy 1 to boy 2 and vice-versa. plus the intimate scenes were deliberately woven into the story to make it good for film direction.. the climax to the love story was too filmy and in atrociously bad taste.
there could have been a strong message, but I feel the message was lost in the commercial bollywood angle which chetan wanted to exploit..
very disappointing.
chetan, you can definitely do better.

this one is not for fast reading. it is too intense and dark. those who find psychological backdrops interesting may like this style of writing.
it is not so much about crime and detection, but about what goes on in the recesses of the protagonist's mind. often verbose and elaborate, this is a book to be read over a longer period, say, a fortnight. perhaps the author wants to highlight the fact that those who work on the side of law enforcement go through tremendous stress and sometimes have their own periods of darkness when they succumb to pressure.
read it only if you have a long break staring at you. Just not the book for train or flight journeys.

I usually read crime and adventure novels. occasionally I take to reading such novels. this one by Barbara Delinsky is exceptionally well written. conveys tremendous depth of her lead characters. perhaps the focus is not on how things pan out, but rather, the process. the emotions, the journey and the happenings that lead to the final conclusion are brilliantly described.
she has managed to convey warmth, passion and beauty surprisingly without betraying commercial filmy and steamy intimate scenes.
good book for those who like long novels. this one is about 500 pages.

Read this book about a month back. good plot and story line. the narrative is fast paced. the author has a good sense of humour. another notable fact is that she has steered clear of unnecessary titillating scenarios that a lot of contemporary writers use to exploit the commercial angle. with hardly any physical description of characters, the author has skilfully built up her characters through their habits, emotions and actions.
hats off to the author
and Yes, be sure to read it.

Not exactly a whodunnit (crime mystery), but more of a drama narrated with style and flair. the lead character Astrid is portrayed admirably. when the criminal becomes the narrator, the story takes a different hue and you get to see the other side of the coin.
good for long train journeys - you will love the spirit of adventure and drama.

I have bought this deodorant in anticipation of humid weather and sweaty tees and shirts. must say it is remarkably long lasting and has a strong fragrance. would also say that a few of my friends complimented me.
so I guess it is a matter of personal choice with regard to fragrance.
