I presented this blender to my sister and mom on rakshabandhan last year (around august 2011) and they were delighted when they put it to use almost immediately!
According to their feedback it is powerful enough to prepare milkshakes and all but gets a bit warm while preparing the mix for cakes (is it really meant for that?).
That should give a realistic idea of the power apart from that mentioned in the tech specs. If flipkart people are listening 250W motor does not make much of sense to people like me who have nothing to do with the kitchen, but, what it can do could help us decide whether, this is the right piece of equipment that my mom or sister could find a lot of use !
