Built:- prevoius design was good. this one lacks the richness of old one. 6/10
Headphones: sound quality is good but highly unconfortable.But can buy a high end one. But test it with the player before u buy,bcoz only some will reproduce the sound correctly from the player.
Volume:- ok 7/10

TIP for low volume problem:- 1) Turn off avls from common settings
2)turn off power saver ,bcoz it will vary the volume level when the battery level starts to fall.

verdict: Go for it boy
