I was on the look out for a entry level/mid range android phone and finally narrowed down my choices to the LG optimus NET and the HTC explorer. The optimus NET looked better on paper with a faster processor and a larger battery. As they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, one on one this phone is far better than the competition in terms of build quality and performance. Without question, The HTC UI is simply the best.No wonder their phones sell at a premium in terms of pricing compared to similar spec phones of other brands. What one should realise is that HTC is a specialist mobile manufacturer and their forte is making mobile phones, therefore there are no compromises unlike samsung, LG etc who make everything under the sun.

The phone is very smooth and works well without lags of any kind. As far as the internal storage is concerned, though the box says 90 MB what is actually available is nearly 110 MB. U will get this info in the storage settings option. I dont see what the fuss is all about, most apps can be moved to the memory card so it does not really matter. If it is such a big deal then just root the phone and clear the unnecessary apps which cannot be moved to the SD card, problem solved.

My only gripe is the lack of auto focus and LED flash in the camera, other than that no issues whatsoever.

And oh, forgot to mention the boot up time, it boots incredibly fast in a matter of seconds. Its as if the phone is on stand-by mode. Starts up in a flash:-)

Great buy at the price and trust me guys, once u get used to HTC sense UI, nothing else will be good enough.

Its a very elegant looking iron with features such as steam and spray all for only Rs.610/-!! Thats in the price range of dry irons in other brands. Go for it, its money well spent, u wont regret it.

I've had this phone from exactly 4 months now. I was not sure whether to go for this or the lumia 710 as they were both in the same price range, infact at that point of time the lumia was INR 2000/- costlier. The lumia had nokia maps/navigation and the gorilla glass in its favour (I found out much later that the omnia too comes with gorilla glass).I finally decided to go for this mainly for the appearance and build quality in comparison to the lumia 710 which looked very plasticy. The second factor was the super amoled screen and the fact that it supports normal SIM unlike lumia.The idea was to use this phone alternatively with my HTC legend. After i got this phone i didnt feel the need to go back to my legend, i did once and couldnt wait to revert to the omnia, thats how good the windows phone experience is over android.

The pros are many, i simply love the silky smooth and beautiful UI which works beautifully. It is not cluttered like android. In terms of customisation there is not much you can do but that is not necessarily a bad thing (This is one critique which I hear often about windows phone which is unfair as the same goes with iphone but I don’t hear people saying the same when referring to ios). At the end of the day what matters is that the phone should work well. I just couldnt come to terms with the laggy and crude android which slows down after a period of time, I have experienced this with two android handsets.
The negatives are few, which I hope windows will fix in future updates. Apart from the usual issues facing all windows phones such as no flash support (ios dosent have it as well), no Bluetooth file sharing (Again ios doesn’t have it, I miss this functionality), inability to search messages, no call timers, no reject call with sms, no templates in messaging, cant save drafts, cant create folders. (This is all I can think of right now.

I have one more small issue which I wonder if other omnia users have faced. Pls let me know if you have. At times, the messaging app opens very slowly, I thought this is because of syncs happening in the background, so I turned on the battery saver which prevents syncs from happening. Despite this the messaging app opens slower than most times. I am at my wits end over this issue.

By and large it is a superb product and after the price reduction I don’t see why one would consider anything else.

Hi,I wanted to test the flipkart service with a small purchase before i go for something bigger,therefore i decided to order this pen drive.

It turned out far better than expected, both the serive and the device. FlipKart were prompt in delivery and the pen drive is smarter, smaller and better than i imagined.

Good work FlipKart. U have me hooked.

Its a good product considering the price.Comparable models in other brands are costlier and are of 750W wherein it takes longer for the iron to heat.

All in all its a good buy

Hi, The speakers look good but sound flat. No depth in sound and jar badly at higher volume.

I know there will be a lot of those who say that one cant expect much in this price range but let me tell u that my previous creative speakers in the same price category sounded far far better.

I will term this as an average product.
