This is the first time I read a book by Rashmi Bansal as I have not yet read her book Stay Hungry Stay Foolish.
My belief is that an entrepreneur could come out from any profession, so why the author has an over ephasized angst against MBAs in particular.
Almost all the success stories are censored for the setbacks and breathtaking hurdles that the young entrepreneurs might have faced. I am not referering to the part-of-the-game kind of hurdles but those usually faced at the time of inception while breaking the proverbial glass ceiling.
I also strongly feel that all the stories are suggestive of a "one man show" (or woman so to speak). The author should also have covered the unbiased opinion of their close aides without whom the entrepreneur could not have established his/ her dream.
Order a book today evening and get it delivered tomorrow!!!! That's an awesome example of logistics created by Flipkart.
This book turned out to be much ahead of my expectations. There are about 150 lessons to be learnt from this book. The topics are well classified. They do not aim to provide a quick fix formula as to how one should manage one's finances but they deal with how one can improve upon one's own perspective and basic understanding of finance and investment.
A must read and a must keep by the bedside kind of a book for every individual.
Bough this book for my 10 year old to inculcate reading habit in the child.
This book covers a story line of development of the indian civilization from stone age to Independent India. Across 200 pages, each page or two covers one topic supported with beautiful coloured graphics relevant to the topic. The language used is simple and rich, and chapters are no lengthy, so the captive interest of the reader is maintained. It helps school kids with a supplementary reading besides their text books on SST. Overall, this book is value for money, a suitable present for children and a great start to inculcate good reading habits among children.
Flipkart delivery was faster than expected. Ordered it late evening and it arrived the day after.
I was surprised that the bubble sheet wrapping was missing this time.
I had high expectations from this product but did nopt quite like it. Though prefence of perfume is a personal perspective but this wasn't my type.
However Flipkart eloquently explains the combination of perfumes contained in the product but not everyone is educated enough to understand. I guess it was the pre-dominance of Black Currant which made me feel like an ice-cream.
Dr.Dey has made a brief summary from a horticulturist's point of view. It is a very practical guide which does not promise an orchard inside your appartment but surely lists out various fruits that can be tried out growing in pots. A worthwhile reading.
However, the book is silent about adaptability of plants to varied weather and climatic conditions in various parts of the country. Also the suggested list of nurseries is very small.
For the first time I was disappointed with Flipkart. The outer packing was intact while the inner carton was crushed. While struggling to open the inner carton, the bottle popped out suddenly and crashed on the floor. The scent that disspipated around before quickly mopping up was aweful.
For perfumes, stay away from cheaply priced stuff about which sufficient information is not provided.
My ten year old had to start reading novels. So I gave him this one as a starter. This is an age old story read by almost all in my generation. It has advanture, spirit and creative elements to help the child be imaginitive.
It is a must for the starter kit of your kids and it is value for money.
Of course Flipkart's prompt delivery, book mark and awesome packing etc desrves all the stars.
Had bought it once on Flipkart. Bought it for the second time for my wife. We both liked it.
It has a subtle naughty note sharp enough to draw attention.
The franrance is Amber or Rosin (remember Jurassic Park?) Something very basic and inexpensive. Besides, what do you get these days in perfumery at this kind of a price?
