In 1698, Lady Amber Livingston returns to England to be wed to a man she doesn't want to marry. She meets a navigator, Isaac James, and is attracted to him. William Shaw and his pirates attack the ship and hold her for ransom. To her horror, Isaac joins the pirates and courts Shaw's daughter. Isaac learns piracy is wrong and escapes. Lady Amber forces him to take her with him. After a series of adventures, they fall in love and pledge to marry. The pirates pursue and capture them. After a battle with a French ship, the pirates release Isaac on the high seas, separating the young lovers. Lady Amber devises a plan to fool the pirates and the British nobility and be reunited with Isaac. If she succeeds, she'll prove "love conquers all." If she fails, she'll be exposed to scandal and possible death.
