This tripod is a good value for money proposal for beginners.

Build quality is good, though not so great, moving parts are smooth, legs are thin but fine, head assembly serves its purpose.

It is so light weight that you can carry it and run around all the day.

It is sturdy enough, but for indoors at low light, I had to enable steady shot or use timer to get sharp images. Even after tightening all the locks, the head vibrates for a second or two when the shutter release is pressed. May be a remote release can solve this problem.

Over all, I am satisfied with this and recommend this tripod to beginners (DSLR & camcorder).

The product is of good build quality..
Easy to use with a 3-way pan head...
It handled the weight of my D7000 along with a 55-300mm lens with ease...
And thanks to the tripod my low light shots are now tack sharp.. even at shutter speeds more than 10sec..

Build quality is very good at this price. Also the maximum height you get is about 5.4 feet when all legs are fully expanded and the elevation gear is adjusted accordingly. But not quite portable when you want to carry it with you while travelling. I haven't receive the carry case listed on the page. I didn't even know about it until today. Will call the customer care right now.

I was in the market for a good tripod for my DSLR and obviously the first place I turned to was Flipkart ;) I had a plethora of options so much so that I was confused but when I put my eyes on the MAK 203, I knew I needed to have it.

The tripod is a bit expensive (compared to other local tripods) but it's a good Vanguard piece.. made of good quality and definitely worth the price. Good height extension, stability and control. Though it's my first tripod, it took me only a few seconds to start using it! It's great.

It's got good height control, nice gears and levers and is built sturdy to last. I've taken it out on a few shoots (day and night; night portrait and night zoom with varying exposure times) and this is pretty stable. Images had little to no shake as expected. Even under windy conditions, it took care of my 2-2.5 kg Canon EOS 550D and stayed stable. Love that! It has a nice hook at the bottom to hang your bag while shooting.. I believe that would act as a counter weight and give it stability (though I didn't use it since I have a different type of bag :))

Overall, it's a great deal! It comes to you at a good price too. I was lucky enough to get it on a special (limited time) sale which made it better but it is a good product for whatever price you pay. My opinion, definitely good value for money!

* The screw at the bottom of the camera attachment plate doesn't have a ring to tighten. You have to put your nail/something sharp to tighten it. If you don't and you're taking shots at a steep angle, your camera will move. (Solution, use a coin :p)

This is a great tripod. It works perfect for me. Its light weight and portable. The moving parts are so smooth; great quality.

I only wish it had two bubble level indicators instead of just one. Carry case could have been better. Despite these two issues, its a pretty good deal.

Well I am still using the product so cant comment or review on it in details. But overall I am very happy with the product. Its tough, rigid and it holds my camera very well. Best part is the shopping experience from FLIPKART.com. Got the package on time as mentioned; Very well packaged; Customer support is also very good and the after sales support was more than what I expected.

As per the description, the product includes a travel bag. But when I received the package, the travel bag was not included. I just called up the Customer Care and informed the same and the bag got delivered in a weeks time. Just a single call.
