Description

The sixth brilliant book from Andy McDermott-Clive Cussler's heir apparent. The world is in shock when Michelangelo's David is stolen from a museum in Florence, Italy. The latest in a series of audacious thefts of historical treasures, it's only a matter of time before another priceless artefact is targeted. When the Talonor Codex-a great Atlantean explorer's account of his travels-is stolen, it becomes clear that the thefts form only part of the raiders' ultimate plan. The codex holds clues to the location of the Vault of Shiva and its fabled contents-the legendary Shiva-Vedas, the chronicles of the ancient Hindu god of destruction. Witnesses to the latest daring robbery, archaeologist Nina Wilde and former SAS soldier Eddie Chase are forced into a treacherous hunt across the world to discover the vault before its secrets fall into dangerous hands. The vault's prize is a treasure beyond price, but it may also be the catalyst for global annihilation.

Only a timepass

Its not very good book. Felt like reading some film story, somewhere in middle you will find it little bit boring. If you are looking for any thriller and adventurous story, you can give it a chance, it is a good time pass.

A good start but fails to keep you interested

This one is a nice start but eventually fails to keep you interested as soon it becomes an ordinary bollywood like story where hero never dies and villain keeps on loosing. In spite of good script story soon becomes predictable and there was not a single instance where author could have managed suspense or thrill.
My recommendation -- avoid it.
Go for Amish Tripathi's Duo. They are awesome. I'm waiting on the third book of the series. Though I bought those two from Crossword yet I'll suggest ...

I want my money back..

a horrible attempt by Andy Mcdermott at writing a novel.
I bought the book looking only at the name and the cover page
all the rest in the book is crap.
Events are unnecessarily slowed down and dragged just to increase the volume.

Good timepass

This is a complete entertainer. The dialogues throughout the book are quite hilarious. The story never loses pace and you never feel bored. This is not a great book or classic, but if you just want to kill some time, you will never regret reading this book.
