Velbon DF-50

Without the use of a tripod, it is impossible to shoot good, well-composed images. Built under the DF series of tripods from Velbon, the Velbon DF-50 camera trivet is medium-sized and is hence simple to handle.

Made of Aluminium, this tripod is designed to resist the harsh weather conditions. The camera stand weighs 1490 g to facilitate easy portability. Besides this, the Velbon DF-50 tripod also has the capacity to hold a maximum load of up to 2000 g.  The in-built spirit level of the Velbon DF-50 makes sure that the trivet is levelled in the front, back and sides for uniform panning.

Body

When the Velbon DF-50 is folded, it measures a length of 580 mm and is thus compact to fit into your luggage during long distance photographic tours. In order to provide enhanced flexibility to shoot flawless images from different angles, this trivet from Velbon comes with a maximum operating height of 1520 mm.  For low angle photography you could minimize the height of the tripod to a lowest operating level of up to 580 mm.

Embedded with three leg sections, the Velbon DF-50 provides extra stability for the mounted equipment. In addition to this, the spiked feet grip on firmly to the ground, even on uneven surfaces and slopes. The diameter of the first upper leg of the tripod is 23.2 mm. For slow and precise panning, the Velbon DF-50 is equipped with an ergonomic pan handle.

You could easily mount or remove your equipment from the tripod while changing lenses, equipment’s or while hand held shooting with the help of the integrated QB-4W Spare Quick Release Plate. Features

The geared elevator of the Velbon DF-50 camera trivet helps you alter the overall height of the unit while shooting and allows for an accurate panning. You could adjust the centre column to a maximum height level of up to 1220 mm.

Adding to the convenience, the Velbon DF-50 consists of Radial Braces. These braces add extra stability to the legs of the tripod, facilitating a safe mount of the equipment and prevent the legs from twisting while shooting.
