Danny A. Barleston resides in Buffalo, New York. A graduate from Hilbert College with a BA in human services, Mr. Barleston performs at open mike regularly at the Em Tea Coffee Cup Caf at 80 Oakgrove in Buffalo under the name DBHands Dont Bring Hateful Attitudes Near Dannys Sanctuary. Poetry has become his means of coping with the harshness of reality. Danny has been employed by Transitional Services Inc. for ten years and the Franciscan Center for seven years, where he incorporates poetry in helping his clientele express difficult emotions, journaling of confusing thoughts and as an alternative coping strategy to address symptoms of their mental illnesses or cravings of their drug addictions. "Verbal Intercourse" has become his method of taking the rigorous demands of his jobs and positively venting emotions in a variety of subject matter.
