V R Murali, a veteran banker by profession, served in an International Indian Bank for over thirty-seven years in various capacities and lived in Dubai for most of his life. Now settled in Chennai, his home town, he has started reviving his passion for writing – communicating in his unique humorous style has always been his forte, which has won him many laurels from his superiors. He was a regular writer for in-house magazines and was in the editorial team of his college magazine as well as in his bank’s in-house journal. With such rich years of experience behind him, he has penned a few memorable incidents to share with his readers – to tickle their funny bones. Buoyed by the encouragement and motivation from his daughter to compile the thoughts, he decided to bring them out in the form of blog-shots initially.

sparkling stones

As rightly shown in the wrapper of the book, all those articles (vivacious encounters) inside the book, are all real good sparkling stones. Every passage in the book connects us directly & moves us personally. We are able to correlate most of the substance in the book with our lives because the narration is so natural & it makes us to visualize immediately to gain an experience.

I wish the author to come out with many more writings of this kind & in many other genres as well.

A must read book

I cannot believe that it is the first book by the Author. An amazing book to read as all episodes narrates live incidents in anyone's life. Looking forward more books from the author.

A treasure for every traveller

Every story can be personally related to; there is humor, satire and an element of surprise in almost every piece of work. These days I truly long to catch the public transport in order to catch up with atleast one story of the book, on my way to work so that my day is brighter!
