Hi bought this drive after my seagate drives failed miserably and i could notice very good difference between WD and seagate, WD is much faster and seems like very reliable unlike seagate.Change is good and its time to Dump seagate products.I saved 62 Rs from MINTADEAL, visit the site and save some bucks, I am a great fan of FLIPKART delivery wow they just deliver it before time. Between WD and Seagate I always prefer WD as I think it's more durable and cheaper too. I already had a WD Green 500GB Hard Drive and it had been giving great service since I bought it 3 years ago. But it broke down recently, only to be replaced instantly in 6 days by WD. This new one WD Blue offers better Read/Write speed than the Green and is great. 100% recommended and buy it from Flipkart as it cost more in Retail.

Western Digital has overtaken Seagate in my book. It offers a better RPM speed, plus more Cache, plus longer Warrenty. Also the drives are much lighter than Seagate ones. As smooth an experience a HDD can give when used as an OS drive. If you need it to be any more smoother, go for a SSD.

I reced the drive the next day of placing the order so HAT's OFF to FLIPKART. Nicely packed as usual and perfectly delivered. I would ask the HDD sellers to also ship SATA data cables with the HDD.

before i used seagate barracuda 320gb.it was not of that much capability.the file transfer was really slow.
i bought this hard drive one month ago.it was delivered to me within one and a half day and it is really good.
it's file transfer rate is far better than the seagate ones.this is a wonderful product and is quite affordable.

I would begin by saying that the packging was poor. It was packed with only a sheet of cardboard. For a feeble device like this, i feel i was let down by packing.
But, thankfully, I did not see any damages from outside.
I havent tested the product for any bad sectors or internal damages. I'll connect to the system and give my feedback laer

I bought this product with the hope that it live up to the hype, but no. It doesn't. I trust the brand mainly because of its stability since I already owned a WD internal hard drive. So its a good investment when you consider stability and longevity.
