WD is better than Seagate for reliability/brand
Earlier I was using Seagate HDDs and they were pretty decent when they had 5 years warranty. But After the Barracuda 7200.11 fiasco and increased drive failure rates they reduced warranty to 1 year, yes from 5 to 1 that's how much confident Seagate is for their Hard drives. Adding to that in INDIA Seagate doesn't have official warranty service center and you must take your HDD to Accel Frontline office for warranty replacement and believe me they are just like Govt. offices and may reject war...

Good drive for storage purposes with decent read/write speeds
This is a good drive for storage purposes ONLY. I have been using this drive for the past 1.5 yrs and have NOT had any problems with it so far.Read/write speeds are between 50-70 MB/s which is fine. This drive is not for installing Windows.Also better not to create any partitions on this drive as drives of this size have a tendency to crash if partitions exist.
Overall very good drive for storage.

Best Internal 3TB HDD
When it comes to High Capacity drives with good 2 Year warranty duration, it's hard to beat WD drives. 3 TB of space, Top Notch performance for both extended read and write modes. This drive will serve equally well for a boot drive or a storage drive and perform exceptionally well in both roles. Works Great
Got the HDD within 3 days of placing the order.
It does work like charm.
However the packaging of Flipkart for a sensitive device like this gets deserves just 3 star Rating. (Disk was just enclosed in a Bubble Wrap).
Luckily the device got detected & is working Perfect as expected.
Great Drive for a Storage purpose.
Partitioned as GPT with 3 seperate partitions (Recognizes around 2.8TB of space)

Flipkart is the BEST in Packing and Shipping and faster delivery. After my many many purchases I'm saying this. not even once there was a disappointment from Flipkart's end. It was and is always a delight to shop in Flipkart.

Excellent Product from Western Digital
I've been a fan of WD since 4 of my hard disks are WD. Now this 3 TB is clearly a winner among others because it consumes less power and creates lesser noise. After all it's caviar green.
One thing you all should know that it's purpose is not to deliver performance, so use it for storing data like movies, music, videos, documents etc. Fighting over the performance and RPM is silly.

Fast drive!
This is a SATA 3 drive and is connected to a SATA 2 port on my motherboard, even then the read/write speed is 132MBp/s which makes it twice as fast as my old SATA 2 drives. It is fast and I will use it as my OS drive.

GOOD HDD
Bought it from flipkart about 2-3 months ago.
Working great so far.
Don't know if it's my Windows settings that put the hard drive to sleep when not in use, but it's a good feature.
Primarily using it for backup and it's worked like a charm.
