Wedding Night is a love story with a twist. Sophie Kinsella asks how you can stop your sister’s wedding night when you know it won’t be a happily-ever-after story.

    Summary of the Book

Lottie has had her share of long term boyfriends who simply aren't ready for marriage. On a fateful day, her old boyfriend Ben walks back into her life and reminds her of their agreement to get married if they were still single at the age of thirty. Lottie is so delighted at the proposal that there won’t be any dates or engagement, but just a straight wedding walk to the altar! They decide to honeymoon on the Greek island where they had first met. Meanwhile, not everyone is pleased with Lottie and Ben’s hasty marriage. Family and friends are stubborn to intervene between them. Will everything lead to Lottie and Ben having a wedding night to remember or a wedding night to forget? Find out what happens on the night that is definitely going to change their lives either way.

    Not upto expectation.

After being a Sophie Kinsella fan for quite some time, this book was a disappointment. We normally expect rib tickling humor, a sense of connection with the heroine & her exploits. This I found lacking. The book started great but then I just wanted it to get over fast.
I loved her shopaholic series & her other previous books but sadly this one is an exception.

I'm still in half-way of the book..but can't wait anymore to review it..
through out the novel you find yourself floating at every page. Either floating with frustration,or anxiety,or tension..
sometimes its hilarious too..('course Sophie's writings are meant to be hilarious)

    Light and Delicious

I am a Sophie Kinsella fan ever since i read "Undomestic Goddess" and this one doesnt dissappoint. The story is around Lottie who after a heartbreaking situation finds an old Flame and marries him. Her Sister Fliss sees disaster in the making and tries to talk her out of it. The plot is hilarious and at times you do feel like throttling Lottie but you also see why she jumped into a disasterous wedding.

Sophie Kinsella is true to her style of writing and will highly recommend it

    Lovely.

Sophie Kinsella aka Madeleine Wickham is one of the writers i adore. Her writings always consist a female protagonist and the stories are excellent. With each novel, there's a different and unexpected story (I'm on my way to buy EVERY book of hers). The Wedding Night is an eccentric book about a crazy girl who decides to marry her ex boyfriend when she'd recently broken up. This creates chaos which is extremely comical. It's a definite read for a hearty laugh. Good Luck! :)
