Good Product for Everybody
It's a good product for everybody including working professionals or students or housewives.
Pros:
1. Easy to place anywhere including a room.
2. There are 2 modes of washing, normal wash (9 min and slow rotation)and heavy wash (15 min and fast rotation). The washing tub is used for rinsing also after draining the used water and refilling with fresh water.
3. The drier is fast (again two modes, normal and heavy drying)
4. Washing quality is excellent. Whatever people may say but semi automatic machines are better than fully automatic ones as you can put on many washing cycles in case you find cloth requires one more round of washing. Saves precious water.
5. My white shirt is really glowing now a days.
6. VALUE for money. Built quality is good.
7. The wheels are not observed from outside. So far doing good.
8. Good for Girls as the machine is not light weight.
Cons
1. The power cord is short (1.5 meters max). You need to have an external power cord if the power source is placed at a distance.
2. The motor is a bit noisy.
3. NOT for lazy people. You need to transfer clothes from washer to the drier tub and select the modes.
4. Because the machine is not too heavy, so tends to move during heavy washing due to more number of clothes and full tub water.
5. No soaking mode. Therefore after soaking, you need to give manual command for washing.
OVERALL a very good product at this price point.

Dont Go for WhirlPool. Worst Customer Care and after warranty cost is too High.
I bought Whirlpool Top Load 7 kg machine on 6 Jan 2010 with the 1 year warranty.
Recently Electronic Circuit Board is not working fine due to which I could not able to power on the machine. Called the customer care on 21 December 2012 and registered a complaint, they are not responding properly. Every time I call the customer care they promise that the service will be done within 24 hours. But no response from Technician and Higher authority. Finally called one of the local Technicians directly nearby my home. He came and said the Electronic Circuit Board to be replaced and will be costing Rs.3600 with 6 months of warranty.
Interesting part of the story is that Technician(who services Whirlpool machine regularly) said that after warranty almost all the Whirlpool machines suffer from same type of issue(Electronic Board Issue) and suggested us not to buy Whirlpool next time and go for LG products.
Those who are planning to buy Whirlpool products beware. I am very much fed up with the customer service.
