A Woman Named Gloria

Gloria Broussard Lindsey, is the strikingly beautiful red-haired wife of Dr. Robert Christopher Lindsey, head pastor of Longview Community Church located in the heart of the affluent Highland Park section of Southwest Greensburg, Mississippi. Gloria has been accepted into the Garden Club which is a tribute to her vivacious spirit in the civic and social affairs of the city. The Lindseys are loving and influential people-responsible parents of four energetic youngsters ranging in age from two to six-beautiful children because their parents are handsome in every way. Their lives become blemished by the appearance of one Peter Bouvier, a villain of the worse sort from Gloria's past-unprincipled and brash. No scruples where morals come to mind. He connects with buxom and blond Daisy Mae Scaggs, head waitress at Pleasant Green Truck Stop. Peter has known about Gloria and her life before Chris.and he uses this knowledge to embark on the business of blackmail against the minister's wife. With deliberate design he accomplishes an exposure of Gloria's downfall-lies that the whole world seems to accept as truth.
